Wang «cb» Qingchuan has rejoined Nova Esports, marking his return to the team where he played the majority of his Valorant career. Originally part of Nova from September 2022 until November 2023, cb demonstrated versatility by filling Initiator, Sentinel, and Duelist roles.
In November 2023, cb left Nova along with coach Shao «24K» Yubo to join EDward Gaming. His time with EDG began promisingly with a victory at China Kickoff, but the team faced an early exit from Masters Santiago with a 0-2 group stage performance, leading to cb being benched.
Since June 2024, 24K has returned as Nova’s head coach, and the organization now has seven signed players, including cb. Though Nova has not disclosed which player cb will replace, he is expected to participate in their China Stage 2 opener against FunPlus Phoenix on Sunday, July 12.
